Bio

They say pictures are worth a thousand words so what better way to tell you about myself than some photos of my life.

This is me, a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, where I am an Organizational and Professional Communication Major. I’m in my first year as an RA and it’s been a crazy ride to even get here. It all started when I got interested in theater and drama.  I realized I loved the spotlight and for the most part just loved getting in front of people and making them laugh. That brought me out of my shell and allowed me to share who I was with those around me. When I got to college I turned my love for the stage into a love for teaching. All throughout high school I had been involved in teaching and tutoring and when I got to college that didn't change. I got involved with a tutoring program and started teaching large group lessons to local elementary students on everything from math to soccer. From there I got involved in Residence Life by being nominated to be a delegate at NACURH 2012 in Boulder Colorado, shortly thereafter I got hired as an RA for the 2012-2013 school year.  This last year has been a whirlwind of crazy experiences including a winning top five presenting honors at the UNI RA conference. In a nut shell that’s my life, I hope the pictures have helped you see a little glimpse into my life.
